Matcha Chia Fresca

Hydrating, energizing and refreshing. This natural energy drink contains coconut water and chia seeds, alone or with energizing match powder. A popular drink in Mexico this version uses hydrating coconut water and an optional add in of maple syrup when added carbohydrates are needed.
Ingredients Makes 500ml or 17oz.
- 500 ml (2 cups) coconut water
- ½ – 1 tsp matcha powder
- 1 ½ tbsp whole chia seeds
- 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (optional) add during strenuous training to keep energy levels up
- Pour all ingredients into a mason jar or bottle, tighten lid.
- Shake to combine.
- Power through your activity with this hydrating energy drink!
