Hydrating, energizing and refreshing. This natural energy drink contains coconut water and chia seeds, alone or with energizing match powder. A popular drink in Mexico this version uses hydrating coconut water and an optional add in of maple syrup when added carbohydrates are needed.

 

Ingredients     Makes 500ml or 17oz.

 

  • 500 ml (2 cups) coconut water
  • ½ – 1 tsp matcha powder
  • 1 ½ tbsp whole chia seeds
  • 1-2 tbsp maple syrup (optional) add during strenuous training to keep energy levels up

 

Instructions

  1. Pour all ingredients into a mason jar or bottle, tighten lid.
  2. Shake to combine.
  3. Power through your activity with this hydrating energy drink!
